ACRE MISSION STATEMENT
For more than a decade, ACRE (Active Community of Real Estate Entrepreneurs) has been serving the needs of the Tri-State's real estate entrepreneurial community. Founded in 1981, the organizations primary role is to provide education for new and seasoned Real Estate Entrepreneurs, to promote the interaction between the Entrepreneur Community via regularly schedule Networking Events and to Keep the Communityup to date advised on Current Events and Legal Proceedings that affect the Entrepreneur community.
We cater to all types of Real Estate Entrrepreneurs including Housing Providers (Landlords), Property Improvement Specialists (Flippers) and Property Acquisition Specialists (Wholesalers) and since its inception, ACRE (Active Community of Real Estate Entrepreneurs) has had in excess of 2,500 memberships. The organization is also affiliated with the National Real Estate Investor's Association (National REIA) and Pennsylvania Residential Owners Association (PROA).
The mission statement of ACRE (Active Community of Real Estate Entrepreneurs) is to help the real estate entrepreneur in gaining practical knowledge of real estate investments and management through education, discussion and networking. The Board of Directors and officers of ACRE (Active Community of Real Estate Entrepreneurs) are all volunteers.

ACRE CODE OF ETHICS
Section 1. All Members of A.C.R.E. shall agree to observe and be bound by the following Code of Ethics.
Members shall constantly seek to provide better values, so that people may know and enjoy the benefits of homeownership or rental living, including affordable, safe and sanitary housing.
Members shall at all times contribute their knowledge in providing housing and management in the best interests of those they serve, developing and redeveloping housing units to make neighborhoods more attractive and desirable.
Members shall not obtain any business by means of fraudulent statements or by use of implications unwarranted by fact or by reasonable probability.
Members shall keep themselves informed of and comply, both in spirit and letter, with rules and regulations prescribed by law and government agencies for the health, safety and progress of the community.
Members shall not perform or cause to be performed any act which would tend to reflect on or bring into dispute any part of the housing provider industry.
Members shall not perform or cause to be performed any act which would tend to reflect negatively on or bring A.C.R.E. into disrepute.
Members shall conduct their business practices with other members with integrity and in an honest manner and shall not conduct any business transaction which would tend to bring disrepute to the Member’s business, the business of any other member, or to any part of the housing provider industry.
Members acknowledge that A.C.R.E.’s policy is to support and foster Fair Housing. Members understand that it is illegal to advertise or in any way discriminate in the sale or rental of a dwelling to a person because of race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familiar status or national origin. All members pledge to uphold all Fair Housing Laws.
Members shall at all times disclose conflicts of interest and potential conflicts of interest to those with whom they are dealing, and shall strive to avoid both actual and apparent conflicts of interest.

Section 3. Procedure for Ethics Grievances.
Any Member or Vendor Member who believes another member or vendor has violated the A.C.R.E. Code of Ethics shall file a written grievance with the Board of Directors.
The Board shall appoint an Investigative Committee consisting of one director, one associate board member and one volunteer to investigate and report on their investigation.
Based upon the investigation and the appearance of both the Complainant and Respondent before the Board, the Board may impose sanctions including suspension or expulsion of any party from A.C.R.E.
